to Experienced Instructor

No other dive center in Thailand can offer the diving package you will receive at Ban's. Here you can come six weeks prior to the PADI IDC and attend theory lectures, practice skills, assist on courses and go fundiving! Our IDC consists of more presentations and practice than the average IDC and you will be prepared to teach after the IDC not just to pass the Instructor Exam.

Ban’s Diving Resort offers courses from PADI Open Water Diver (entry level) to monthly Instructor Development Courses (PADI IDC), our unique Internship Instructor Program and technical courses like BSAC Compressor Operator Courses and DSAT TEC and Re-breather Courses. We have courses for everyone -starting everyday – year round!

Ban's Diving Resort is a diving college and our specialty is Instructor Development. At Ban’s Diving Resort you have the options of enrolling in professional courses in Recreational Diving, Technical Diving, Diving Technician Programs, Environmental Courses, Boat Handler and more. Ban’s facilities are superior to most dive centres in the world with 7 large classrooms (dedicated classrooms for professional courses). All classrooms are air-conditioned and have a projector or a plasma TV. We have 165 rooms dedicated for divers with prices for everyone. Our fleet of diving boats (3 large diving boats and 2 speedboats) brings you to over 10 different dive sites everyday - year round! Our two resort pools are perfect for confined water training. All our facilities are located on Koh Taos most popular beach - Sairee Beach. The evenings are great as well with Ban’s Beach Bar "The Fish bowl" and a restaurant located on directly on the beach with stunning sunsets where all our divers meet in the evening!

After the IDC and the IE are completed we offer our unique internship program called Diving Instructor Internship Program (D.I.I.P). Now you can apply all the knowledge and skills you learned during your PADI IDC - Koh Tao and Bans Diving attracts enough student divers to start entry level courses every day. You will team teach with Senior Master Instructors with years of experience and thousands of certifications behind them to get tips and hints how to make the most out of each PADI Course and Program. During 2009 everyone attended the D.I.I.P. Program was offered an instructor job even before the training was completed!
